You add Swiss Travel Passes to your smartphone wallet, such as the iPhone wallet. Not to the sbb mobile app.
You can still create a swisspass account and download the sbb mobile app for other purposes, such as checking the timetable or buying point-to-point tickets. In this case, you and your wife need separate accounts.
I didn’t quite understand what you meant by “e-ticket delivery”. E-tickets can be purchased up to 2 months before the date of travel and should be ready for printing out immediately.
