Use of EuroRail Global Pass

Hi I have friends visiting; can the EuroRail Global Pass be used to travel from Geneva to Venice and back (1st class). The train in the morning at 07:39 hrs from Geneva-to Venice; and 6 May at 09:26 from Venice to Geneva. Also, can this Global Pass be used on Swiss Trains 1st class? Including the Chernex train ride to the moutains? Thank you.

The Global Eurorail Pass is valid on both connections you mentioned, but do not forget the additional seat reservation, which is mandatory.
