Yes of course, point to point tickets are available for everyone. You can purchase them online (SBB App or sbb-tickets.cc/en) or at any train station in Switzerland (at the ticket counter or at the automaitc machine).

Hi there,

We need bus tickets when we visit Switzerland, we will use this from train station to our AirBnB, when I tried purchasing tickets, it was asking for date and time of travel, start and destination..would that mean I can only use those tickets for that specific time and route? And we missed the bus, we wont be able to use the tickets anymore?

I have a question regarding this topic…I have tried booking single journey tickets online and it was asking for the date, time, from and to location. Would that mean we can only use the ticket on the exact day, time, location? And if we missed our bus, would that mean we would need another set of tickets? As much as possible we wanted to purchase our tickets ahead of time so I wont be needing to look for a booth to purchase. We are only looking for less that 10 bus rides for a family of 4. My kids are 14 and 6.
