Half-fare travel card-validation date before receiving the card plaese

Hello everyone.

I would like to get some information regarding the Swiss half-fare card.

I ordered one using the request form on Wednesday this week, and on the form, I chose the validation date was Monday next week when I suppose to travel with this card.

I am a little worried that we might not be able to receive the card before the validation date. Any suggestions on what else I can do. Is it possible to get a temporary one instead of receiving the formal one?

We need at least 10 days time for the production of a new SwissPass card and also because, if you have chosen to pay by Invoice, we expect the payement of your Half-fare subscription before the beginning of it’s validity.

The best option when you need a Half-fare travelcard valid right the way, is to go directly to a SBB counter and make the purchase with us there. Take with you a pass photo and we will also give you a temporary SwissPass. Once you receive the invoice for the previous contract, you can call us Tel. 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min. Available 24/7) and we will make sure that you don’t get two valid Half-fare subscriptions on the same SwissPass. Best wishes, EllenvS
